When Heather and I initially got together to talk about hosting a New Year’s Eve soiree, we knew we wanted to do something different – New York City feel, mysterious invite and surroundings, masquerade, beautiful people, etc. I immediately created what I thought would be a “mysterious” invitation. We thought by doing something like that, we were automatically going to entice people to come to the event – elegant invitations with cryptic writing, black envelopes, handwritten gold lettering…check. Guests knowing what to do with them, that’s another story…
